Although I did not know your dear Greg, I do send my condolences. There are no words that can describe how much you will miss him. I find it comforting to know that the “Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort” (2Cor 1:3) comforts at our most vulnerable times.

I am so sorry for your loss. As I played Wow with Greg he considered his ’guildies’ as family as he told me. He loved to chat in a voice program. It kept his mind focused off his pain as he told me. We in the Wow community especially the guild we all were in knew he was quite ill. We had some rough times and some very good times. As he got sicker we knew things were progressing faster then I think he would admitt to. I tried to encourage him to make a ’bucket list’ but he was subborn and said he had all he wanted to do and was looking forward to the new release of a game World of Warcraft was releasing in a few months. He had goals for his Wow community. Strong willed and destermined we tried to encourage him to rest more. It seemed he didnt want to log off to rest. It was like he knew. In a way he got his final wish to be happy doing what he enjoyed the most as he put it. And that was playing his beloved game. Rest in Peace Greg (Prot) may you be doing dungeons forever and getting your ’toons’ geared up.

    Dear Jessica,

You are a wonderful sister to have been there for your dear brother at his time of need. I know he felt your presence and your love. You have been incredibly sweet to have set up everything so nicely for him. Greg served his nation proudly and honorably in the United States Army. For that also, he should always be remembered and cherished.

We send you lots of love from Hawaii,

    Marie, Thomas and David Tapia

    Dr. O’Dell,
I am so sorry to hear this. A week or two ago Pat & I were driving somewhere. All of a sudden your name popped up all over my mind. I felt like something tragic had happened to someone close to you. I found myself wondering how old your children would be by now. I think these feelings come to us so we will just stop & pray & send energy to the person He’s laid on our minds. I manage to look at the paper about a week late, if at all. The other night this page jumped out at me and I wished I could run over & give you a hug. I know those kids have meant everything to you. They have been very blessed to come into your home, and you have been blessed with them. Take comfort in knowing you did your best and you were always meant to be their mom. May your memories comfort you all.
    Sincerely,
    Donna Dougan

I played World of Warcraft with Greg many years ago. We had some memories with him, we were part of his guild. We were friends. I remember Greg well from all the hours we spent playing that game. And to the two of us it was a great time. He was a nice guy, he was an interesting guy. I hope the best for his family too.

Until we meet again Cen, somewhere in the afterlife. I look forward to it.
